ANNUAL SPRING OPEN HOUSE

Our Annual Spring Open House is April 24th-25th 9am-6pm.
We're getting plants for planting outside nearly everyday now, including a great selection of herbs and unusual miniature, dwarf, and bonsai conifers.
And of course, annuals and perennials for great lasting color in your containers and flower beds.

We will be celebrating Spring, and all the fun that comes with it! Our open house marks the beginning of extended plant selections, including perennials, annuals, vegetable starts and herbs. There is always a little dance going on in our minds around this time of the year, because we could still get some frosts, but everyone is so anxious to get going with planting, so we do our best to offer some hardy perennials and the toughest annuals and herbs till we get safely around the frost date.

During our Open House, we will be offering a discount to folks on our mailing list, come by or call us, and ask us to put you on our mailing list.

WHAT'S NEW

This week we received several new things for Spring.

As always, we filled the shop inside with beautiful tropicals-those that bloom, and those that put on a spectacular show with their colorful foliage.

Our order of concrete statuary and birdbaths arrived with the long-awaited statue of the Spring Terminal who you might recognize standing outside the front of the shop greeting us with spring flowers in her hair. We carry Unique Stone, a concrete company, in NC, that specializes in reproductions from old estates from around the world. Their 'old-world' finishes are truly unique, creating a beautiful aged-look on all their products.

Our very popular selection of women's and baby hats also arrived this week, with a range in styles and colors. Coming soon, in time for the Spring Open House, more from Glory B- a line of
handmade paper hats which have delighted everyone who sees them.

We're getting new things in every day or so. Please feel free to come browse and enjoy the spring weather and all the little things popping out in the garden!

We are all looking forward to...

SPRING! The first signs of Spring are here! Daffodils are pushing up, buds on the Forsythia, Quince and Pussy-willow are swelling and last night we heard Spring Peepers!

At Thyme in the Garden, we know Spring is almost here when we get our first delivery of Pansies, Violias and POTS. And more pots! Last week we unpacked a huge delivery of all sorts of pots from rustic aged terra cotta, fiberclay containers, and all shapes and sizes of colorful glazed pottery.

We are happy to help you find the perfect container for your home, or find a special gift from our selection of indoor plants and pots. We offer a potting service as well, either bring your container from home or choose one of ours and we'll pot them up with a unquie and beautiful arrangement for outdoors or in. If your big containers are too large to transport, we'll bring the plants to you and pot them up on location. Call us and ask about our on-site container potting services.
