Living Arrangements in Beautiful Pottery

At Thyme in the Garden, you will find a diverse selection of gifts, plants, indoor and outdoor pottery, and decor for the garden and home. One of the mainstays of our business are indoor plants and pottery that can serve as a wonderful gift, or be a nurturing way to decorate your own home. House plants offer year-round greening to dull spots in your living spaces. You can use them to purify the air, compliment your architectural style, and build your connection to the living world of plants. During the spring and fall gardening season we expand our plant selections to include perennials, annuals, herbs and veggie starts for your garden- always with an eye towards the unusual and especially suitable for container gardening.

The cold of winter has settled in...

The short, cold days of January are here and it is an excellent time of year to pamper and restore yourself and loved ones.   Here are three wonderful ways to do this in the winter:   1. Enliven dull indoor spaces with tropical plants and potted arrangements. The green, living freshness cleans the air, and brings an immediate sense of serenity to any room.                                       2.  Wrap yourself in deliciously soft fabrics. You'll love these wonderful cotton nightgowns and the luxuriant merino wool and silk scarves and shrugs.                              3. Explore the variety of fragrances, from citrus, woody, floral or fruity; they all nurture and help express your personality.  Hand creams and lotions restore dry skin and layer the scent of the hand wash for a lingering effect. Infuse your evenings with a room fragrance mist, poured candle or reed diffuser.
